From August 9 to Sept.30, 18 galleries & art spaces in santelmo, will participate of "Encuentros Abiertos 2008", the
Festival of Light that will take place all over BA, creating an alternative circuit, where they will exhibit the artwork of more than 70 photographers

"Encuentros Abiertos 2008" will be the 15th Edition of the Festival that was first celebrated in Buenos Aires city in 1989 and that was aimed to build a space for the multidisciplinary photographer from all places and origins to communicate and interact.
The XV Encuentros Abiertos of photography- Festival of Light will be held in August 2008 under the topic IT IS US, IT IS YOU,IT IS THEM. It will take place in museums, cultural centers, galleries and art venues all over Argentina. The artwork of the diferent photo artists are exhibited in the main museums around the city, as well as art rooms,galleries and cultural centres.

In san telmo the off circuit will show alternative exhibitions that have been curated and organized by guest curators.
